Absolutely delicious and authentic. Ask about vegetarian and vegan options- there are plenty. We got the sizzling tofu which was unique and so scrumptious, the Mapo tofu which was definitely on par with some of the best, and the eggplant, which was absolutely perfect. The portion sizes and prices and service were all fantastic.

Had a wonderful late lunch yesterday with our family with 8 people. Loved sitting at the round 8 top table with large lazy susan in the middle for traditional Chinese family style dining. Despite eating at 3pm on a Saturday, the food was fresh, hot and delicious! A lot of beef in the beef and broccoli, yummy sesame chicken, and savory and spicy MA PO tofu were our favorites.

A restaurant I visited today that I was sad to hear their business has been slow is Tianluo Bistro. They specialize in Szechuan style food from China which there's nowhere else like it in Wichita from what I know. I've been here once in the past, and I really enjoyed it so I figured they deserve another visit. I'll say the owner was extremely sweet, and a little chatter box. She made me feel special and welcome at her establishment. For lunch I ordered the Sizzling Chicken. I'll start out with the best part of the dish. THE SAUCE. To say it was tasty is a disservice to how good it really was. It was a little tangy, sweet, with a good amount of heat, but the spiciness wasn't overpowering. Probably the best I've had at this type of place. My chicken was cooked perfectly, and very tender. The cook on the vegetables was equally as good. Everything on this dish was definitely fresh. It came with rice which I have no complaints about. I am thoroughly disappointed that I heard from the owner they've been getting a bunch of bad reviews. Don't believe a word they say. I haven't had Chinese food this good in a long while. Probably since my last visit here.

Waitstaff is always extremely kind to me when I come! I had the steamed seabass with red chili today and it was delicious! The portion was huge and the fish literally melted in my mouth.

We were in town for the Automobilia car show and did a search for authentic Asian food and found this place. Let's just say it was so good that we came back again today. We had two different fish dishes, and lamb, mopu tofu, sizzling chicken, water spinach, eggplant, soup dumplings, black mushroom appetizer, and pan fried dumplings. Everything was was very good! If you live in Wichita or passing through this is a must try for authentic Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere, staff, and variety of choices on the menu are great.

I've gone a few times so far, and each time, the food and staff were wonderful. They give generous helpings of food that's perfect for sharing a few dishes with friends. I particularly enjoyed the twice cooked pork and the sizzling lamb that my friend ordered. Not a fan of spice? No problem! They can adjust the level to meet what you want. Honestly, I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. There's so many different dishes that sound delicious!

We popped in, a group of 10, and they were able to accommodate us last-minute, gave us a large table (for 14) and though they were a bit short of staff, were able to get us a delicious meal through the evening. Let me start by saying - we were super pleasantly surprised to find a Szechuan place in Kansas. Secondly, the spice wasn't too spicy, so it's more manageable. And lastly, for 10 people, we shared 10 dishes, and it came to only 150.... plus tip, we were still less than 20 a person! That's amazing... that's probably only 5 dishes in NJ/NY, at most. Favs: The stir fried cabbage, veggie lo mein, egg fried rice, hot & spicy fish fillet, beef in hot sour broth, braised eggplant w/ garlic & chili. The ok: braised pork, sizzling beef (a little too long on the sizzling plate), spicy pig's blood w/ tripe & veggies. They ran out of the sauteed water spinach, but that's ok... we were full up!

Having a late lunch... The food was great came out hot and fresh. Chicken and mixed vegetables with a fried egg roll & general tso's chicken fried rice. Proportions were more than we could eat for lunch will make great for microwaving.
